ORIGINAL post on February 4:
Due to expected overnight freezing temperatures, we can expect icy conditions tomorrow, February 5. We urge everyone to avoid traveling, if possible, but if you have to travel, please be extremely cautious. Roads, sidewalks, and bridges will be slick, be extra careful out there!
- Slow down and leave extra space if you're driving.
- Take smaller steps if you’re walking around.
- If you don’t need to go out, stay inside!
Our teams are out working to clear everything, but stay safe and keep checking for updates. Sign up for emergency alerts at ashlandoregon.gov/BetterPrepared.
All non-essential City staff will be on a start delay until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5.
Ashland Public Schools closed tomorrow, February 5.
