Today, Wednesday, April 2, the City of Ashland and Grayback Forestry will manage controlled burns to consume burn piles. The burn locations are around the lower USFS 2060 road off the end of Granite St, along the Red Queen, Jabberwocky, and Gryphon Trails. Predicted Smoke Impacts: Smoke will briefly impact areas close to the controlled burn. There will be minimal impacts to recreation due to few piles burned in each location. People should avoid these areas (Red Queen, Gyphon and Jabberwocky) if they are sensitive to smoke. There should be no impacts to neighborhoods.
