The committee will meet over the course of six months and is tasked with assisting in the development of critical planning and management documents that will shape the future use of the site.

  • A client “bill of rights,” code of conduct, and behavior contract.
  • A set of site rules.
  • Elements of a communications and engagement plan for use with key stakeholders, including nearby residents, businesses and potential clients.
  • Recommendations for interim uses of the property.

Scope of Authority

The committee will propose management processes and documents, recommend possible site uses, assist City staff and elected officials in public engagement, and ultimately provide a final recommendation to the City Council regarding the site plan. All meetings will be conducted in accordance with public meeting laws and ethics regulations.
