Be Ready: Join the Ashland Wildfire Evacuation Drill

Wildfire season is a reality where we live, and preparation is one of the most powerful tools we have to protect our community. Ashland has experienced firsthand how quickly wildfires can threaten homes, neighborhoods and lives. That’s why the City of Ashland is inviting you to participate in the Ashland Wildfire Evacuation Drill,* a first-of-its-kind event designed to help us all practice what to do when the next wildfire strikes.

Note: This page was updated September 30. Please see "Be Set!" below for updated information.

By joining the drill, you’ll:

  • Learn evacuation routes
  • Practice what to pack
  • Get better prepared to stay calm and help neighbors during an emergency

This drill is not just about personal safety, it’s about community resilience. Every household that participates strengthens Ashland’s collective preparedness. When the next wildfire comes, fear can be replaced with confidence and confusion with clear action. Preparing now protects the people and places we love most.
