Upgrades to the PacifiCorp electrical substation on East Nevada Street began in September 2025. Daytime construction noise is expected to conclude by Thursday, October 23.
As part of the ongoing work, fans powered by a generator will be operating 24/7 for the duration of the project. PacifiCorp is currently exploring sound-dampening solutions, as construction is anticipated to continue through mid-to-late December.
