The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is progressing with Jackson County Curb Ramps Phase 2, a regional accessibility improvement project underway since summer 2025 and continuing through summer 2026. This month, crews will work on seven scheduled days: December 8 through 12 and December 22 through 23.
The project will construct and upgrade 113 ADA-compliant curb ramps in Medford, Central Point, White City, Talent and Ashland. These upgrades address long-needed sidewalk improvements throughout Jackson County and enhance accessibility and safety for all travelers.
The $6.7 million project is overseen by ODOT as part of its commitment to “Building Oregon’s economy through transportation investment.” Additional project information is available on the ODOT website (Project 22438). We are Better Together!
