Attention Mt Bikers: Starting tomorrow, December 16, the Jabberwocky Trail will be closed for scheduled trail maintenance. Trail work has already begun on the U.S. Forest Service portion of the trail. (Jabberwock is a downhill-bike-only trail!)
This maintenance is being completed in partnership with Ashland Parks and Recreation, the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest Service, RVMBA (Rogue Valley Mountain Bike Association) and Earth Worx Excavation. RVMBA will post closure-signs at both ends of the trail to notify would-be users.
Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, December 16, and continue through the week. The goal is to complete maintenance before significant rainfall arrives.
