The City of Ashland announces that Parks and Recreation Director Rocky Houston has resigned from his position, effective immediately. Houston has made the decision to part ways with the City of Ashland after 1.5 years of service.
“We would like to thank Rocky for his service and wish him well on his next endeavors,” said City Manager Sabrina Cotta.
The Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for appointing, supervising and removing the Parks Director, per the City Charter. The City will share additional information regarding interim leadership or next steps as it becomes available.
