Facilities Master Plan

The Facilities Master Plan reflects the City’s commitment to planning for the future with care, foresight and strategic investment. Developed with input from City staff, elected officials and professional consultants, the plan addresses long-standing challenges such as deferred maintenance, outdated facilities and buildings that no longer align with the services they support.

As you explore this plan, you’ll see a focus on creating and maintaining facilities that are safe, welcoming and functional for both the public and the staff who serve the community. The plan emphasizes right-sized facilities, appropriate buildings in the right locations and thoughtful strategies to ensure City facilities are maintained responsibly for decades to come.

More than a ten-year roadmap, the Facilities Master Plan represents a commitment to responsible stewardship, effective public service and civic spaces that reflect the strength, vision and vitality of the Ashland community. This plan provides a clear path forward that turns long-term planning into meaningful action.
