Ashland has four city-owned community gardens available for recreational, non-commercial organic gardening. The gardens offer various-sized plots that can be leased through annual membership.
Garden membership is limited to one plot per household and includes access to the garden, water, green debris removal, limited tools and a small, assigned storage space. Community Garden Membership is contingent upon adherence to the Community Garden Contract, Raised Bed Addendum, and the completion of 4 hours of community service to the garden, per year.
Annual membership ranges from $29 to $100 per year, depending on plot size and location. A one-time, refundable deposit of $20 is required.
