π§ Trail & Creek Access Changes Starting July 21 π§
A major culvert replacement project has started near the top of Granite Street, affecting access to several popular trails and the Fairy Ponds parking area. This work is part of the first phase of Ashland’s new water treatment plant project, approved by voters in 2024.
To maintain access to USFS 2060 (Lithia Loop Rd) and to allow an exit from the Wasabi trail, a road crossing through the construction zone leading to a new connecting trail to Wonder will be marked. It is critical that all users stay within the marked boundaries of the road crossing to allow continued access. Everything to the north of the gate will remain accessible to the public, including all parking areas outside of the work zone. The new creek crossing is TEMPORARY.
