2. A flow test request can be used by the design community to determine available fire flow for a planned building or to design a fire sprinkler system. A flow test could take as long as two weeks to obtain the information. In order to expedite the process, existing data will be used when practical. In addition, requests to design an National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 13D system for a one- or two-family home will be provided with static pressure only. There is a $100 charge for a flow test.
