2. This permit covers the construction of sidewalks, driveway approaches, curbs and gutters within the City of Ashland public right-of-way. The applicant must provide a description of the purpose for the permit and also a legible site map indicating the location of construction with respect to curb and/or property lines. All work shall conform to the City of Ashland Engineering Standards and Ordinances. Applicants must call for any necessary inspections a minimum of one business day prior to those inspections being needed. All requests must be received during business hours. After hours requests will be placed on the inspection schedule for the next business day. Day of inspection requests will not be accepted and will be scheduled for the next business day.
