Citizens' Budget Committee
The Citizens' Budget Committee is a fiscal advisory group to the Council. Oregon budget law establishes the budget committee and its functions beginning with ORS 294.414.

Climate and Environment Policy Advisory Committee
The Climate and Environment Policy Advisory Committee (CEPAC) acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council regarding climate, conservation, and environment subject matter areas. CEPAC’s primary focus is on the implementation, progress, education and modification of the City’s Climate and Energy Action Plan (CEAP).

Housing and Human Services Advisory Committee
The Housing and Human Services Advisory Committee’s mission is to assess and make recommendations to the City for addressing the continuum of housing and human services needs for the purpose of enhancing community health and well-being. The Committee reviews and makes recommendations on the City’s housing and human service related grant funds and works to affirmatively further fair and equitable housing goals and opportunities within the City.

Municipal Audit Committee
The Audit Committee helps to ensure that management properly develops and adheres to a sound system of internal controls, that procedures are in place to objectively assess management's practices, and that the independent auditors, through their own review, objectively assess the City's financial reporting practices.

Parks Commission Advisory Committees
The Parks Commission has three Advisory Committees that report to the body: The Ashland Senior Advisory Committee, the Recreation Division Advisory Committee and the Trails Advisory Committee.

Public Arts Advisory Committee
The Public Arts Advisory Committee (PAAC) works to enhance the cultural and aesthetic quality of life in Ashland by actively pursuing the placement of public art in public spaces and serving to preserve and develop public access to the arts. PAAC provides leadership and support to community organizations and individuals in making public art a greater part of our city.

Social Equity and Racial Justice Advisory Committee
The Social Equity and Racial Justice Advisory Committee (SERJAC) is dedicated to fostering a community where every voice is heard and every individual is empowered. From advocating for policies that dismantle systemic barriers to championing economic opportunities for marginalized groups, SERJAC stands as a beacon of progress and unity in Ashland, ensuring that diversity isn't just celebrated, but actively embraced at every level of civic life.

Transportation Advisory Committee
The Transportation Advisory Committee advises the City Council on transportation related issues specifically as they relate to safety, planning, funding and advocacy for bicycles, transit, parking, pedestrian and all other modes of transportation.

Ad Hoc - 2200 Ashland Street Facility Plan Ad Hoc Committee
The mission of the 2200 Ashland Street Facility Plan Ad Hoc Committee is to create a long-term facility master plan for the building and surrounding property at 2200 Ashland Street that aligns with contractual obligations, furthers the community’s goals regarding homeless services and affordable housing, and enhances the experience of the surrounding neighborhood. The Ad Hoc Committee will utilize the recommendations found in the 2200 Ashland Street Master Plan.
