Most water collected in storm drains eventually runs into Ashland Creek or Bear Creek. Therefore, it is very important to not allow any waste (car oil, paint, lawn clippings, etc.) in these drains. City ordinance requires that storm drains be free from debris and garbage. Storm drains are maintained by the Public Works Department.
Storm drainage rates are charged monthly with other City utilities. For more information about utility services and billing, please visit the Utility Customer Service page.
