Water Rates

Water rates are charged monthly with other City utilities.  Please visit the Utility Customer Service page for more information on City-provided utilities, including how to get service started.

Monthly Service Charge

Effective July 1, 2025

A monthly customer charge of $16.50 is assessed to each water account regardless of the number of metered water services. The basic service charge applies to all metered water services and does not include any water consumption. Basic service charges are based on the diameter of your water meter and are displayed below.

  • 2 Inch Meter $ 113.73
  • 3 Inch Meter $ 225.87
  • 4 Inch Meter $ 360.81

Water Quantity Charge

Customers are charged the following rates per cubic foot (cf) of water used (one cubic foot is 7.48 gallons).

Single-Family Residential Consumption

  • 0 to 500 cf per month $0.0285/cf
  • 501 to 1000 cf per month $0.0385/cf
  • 1001 to 2500 cf per month $0.0560/cf
  • Over 2500 cf per month $0.0860/cf

Multi-Family Residential Consumption

  • 0 to 500 cf per month per unit $0.0285/cf
  • 501 to 1000 cf per month per unit $0.0385/cf
  • 1001 to 2500 cf per month per unit $0.0560/cf
  • Over 2500 cf per month per unit $0.0860/cf

A charge placed on each water bill based on meter size for the purpose of raising revenue for the Wildfire Risk Reduction project. Please go to the Ashland Watershed for more information regarding this project.
