RESPONSIBILITIES
The City of Ashland's Finance Department provides financial and analytical support to City departments and decision makers, safeguarding and facilitating the optimal use of City resources throughout the organization. Our employees work together to add value to organizational processes and procedures so that we may be a trusted partner in providing services to the residents of Ashland.
Since 1987, the Finance Department has been recognized annually by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) award for Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. In addition, the City received the GFOA Award for Distinguished Budget Presentation since 1992.
