Appeal a Parking Ticket

Appeal a parking ticket to the Ashland Municipal Court Judge. This is the same portal that you pay your parking ticket. Please enter your citation number and follow the prompts. Please note that the appeals process is taking longer than normal at this point in time, and it may take a few months for your appeal to be reviewed.  No late fees will be assessed while your appeal is waiting for review.

Do not submit a payment if you appeal the ticket. You will need to wait for a response from the Judge on whether or not the ticket is waived.

General Time Limits

Timed parking downtown maximize the available spaces for people to shop, eat, work and enjoy downtown Ashland.  When employees, business owners and visitors use parking spaces in the downtown area for longer than the designated allotted time, it limits the number of spaces available for both our local residents and visiting guests.

  • Parking in the Plaza, on East Main Street, the Second Street parking lot and most side streets in the downtown area is limited to two hours
  • Parking in the remaining surface parking lots is limited to four hours.
  • Vehicles re-parking within the same day must park at least one block away to avoid an overtime parking ticket
  • Multiple parking tickets per calendar year will result in additional fines

Electric Vehicle Resources
